The Foundry Operator is responsible for the proper startup, shutdown, cleaning, and maintenance of the Reverb Furnace.

What You'll Do

• Participate in safe operations of Furnace Department practices and uphold housekeeping standards
• Maintain proper metal properties and metal levels in melt and holding furnaces
• Keep Crucibles full at casting machines to assure no interruptions to production
• Perform other duties as assigned in the support of manufacturing and company goals

Requirements

What We Need from You:

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple priorities
• Effective communication with supervision and support personnel
• Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for long periods
• Ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 55 pounds regularly
• Basic math, visual inspections, and written communication skills
