Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Palantir Foundry Ontology Engineer to support our Defense Technology team. You will translate mission problems into technical architectures, build production-grade data pipelines, and design ontologies to enable decision-support for mission-critical operations.

You will work with clients, engineers, analysts, and stakeholders, travel as needed for workshops and deployments, and implement engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software, data analytics, or platform engineering
• Experience in Palantir Foundry
• Ontology design and management, and building workflows
• Ability to translate requirements into technical solutions and engage with stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Translate mission problems into technical architectures and ontologies
• Build and maintain production-grade data pipelines using Foundry tools
• Design, develop, and maintain ontologies and workflows
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve data pipelines for mission-critical ops
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and refine solutions
• Implement engineering best practices including version control, testing, and documentation
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
• Travel to client sites for workshops and deployment
