Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Palantir Foundry Ontology Engineer to advance data-driven defense solutions. You will design ontologies, build data pipelines, and collaborate with mission stakeholders to turn complex requirements into actionable technical outcomes.

You will work on production-grade pipelines, apply ontology design, and integrate AI/ML capabilities within Foundry, while traveling to client sites as needed. A secret clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software, data analytics, or platform engineering.
• Experience in Palantir Foundry.
• Experience in Ontology design and management; designing and developing applications and workflows, and integrating AI solutions.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders, define requirements, and translate them into technical solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Translate mission problems into technical architectures, workflows, and ontologies.
• Build and maintain production-grade data pipelines using Foundry’s Code Repositories and Pipeline Builder.
• Design, develop, and maintain ontologies and operational workflows.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve existing data pipelines and applications.
• Work directly with clients to gather requirements, iterate on prototypes, and refine solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Travel to and work from client sites as needed for workshops and deployments.
