Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous foundry, manufacturing, construction, or industrial experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read measuring devices and basic production documents.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Build, prepare, and repair sand molds and cores according to production specifications.
• Read and follow work orders, blueprints, patterns, and casting instructions.
• Set molds, cores, chills, and gating systems as required.
• Inspect molds for defects and make corrections before pouring.
• Operate molding equipment, sand systems, and related foundry machinery.
• Assist with mold stripping, shakeout, and cleaning operations.
• Maintain proper sand quality and monitor molding materials.
• Perform quality checks to ensure castings meet specifications.
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies.
• Keep work areas clean and organized using 6S principles.
• Assist with other production duties as assigned.
