Job summary

Superior Metals Manufacturing is seeking experienced individuals for its foundry department. Openings on day (4am–4pm) and night (4pm–4am) shifts. Night shift receives a $3.00 differential.

Overtime and weekend work possible. Melter duties include operating melting equipment, setting up air/vacuum units, and following precise melting parameters. Qualifications include a High School Diploma/GED and, if required, forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Forklift license may be required.
• Entry level but foundry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate pre-heat oven for preparing ceramics according to specifications.
• Safely move material to the furnaces as directed.
• Take samples to the materials laboratory and identify if any additions are needed.
• Perform safety checklists and inspect mold setups for accuracy.
• Safely operate the mold furnace and vacuum furnace.
• Must be able to tolerate high heat temperatures and follow written instructions.
