Job summary

Durex Manufacturing in Cary, IL is seeking a Production Scheduler / Material Flow Coordinator to align SFM and ERP, refresh production schedules, and ensure MO component visibility on the floor. You’ll drive through-put by publishing daily metrics and coordinating with departments to minimize friction and keep WIP in check.

Responsibilities include reconciling SFM and ERP transactions, setting replenishment strategies (milk runs), and leading continuous improvement using Kanban and safety stock.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in discrete process manufacturing.
• Data-driven decision-making with process sustainment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with ERP/MES systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Guarantee smooth material transfers between manufacturing departments.
• Publish daily progress and reports including cycle counts and MO activity.
• Reconcile differences between Shop Floor Manager and ERP transactions.
• Identify floor stock and design replenishment strategies such as milk runs.
• Maintain up-to-date production schedule for MO component visibility.
• Support ad hoc projects and targeted analyses as needed.

Reports go out and drive action. That’s the cadence you’ll create.How you’ll make it happenGuarantee smooth material transfers between manufacturing departments. Publish the essentials daily: work progress, transaction activity, cycle counts, and open MO reports. Keep WIP controlled to maintain throughput and clarity. Reconcile differences between Shop Floor Manager (SFM) and ERP—transactions, quantities, locations. Identify floor stock; design replenishment and set up milk runs; partner with Purchasing on reviews and quantities. Apply continuous improvement using safety stock and Kanban methodologies. Maintain an up-to-date production schedule to ensure MO component visibility.
