Job summary

Watts Water Technologies in Franklin, NH, is seeking an orderly, self-directed professional to assist the department supervisor and ensure smooth operation of the 3D/Shell area. This on-site role emphasizes safety, problem solving, and timely production order completion within a foundry environment.

The successful candidate will have 4+ years in manufacturing, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to lead meetings and coordinate with maintenance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of related manufacturing experience.
• Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively and coordinate with supervision and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment and culture for all associates, following all safety rules and regulations, and escalating all safety concerns immediately.
• Ensure that any job-related injury and/or illness is reported immediately to the Supervisor.
• Maintain constant communication with the supervisor to coordinate work assignments to meet customer demands and shipping schedules.
• Assist employees by solving problems, answering questions, reviewing quality, and training employees.
• Troubleshoot equipment and systems, coordinate with maintenance and other support departments as needed to maintain the production schedule.
• Act as an informal leader and influence without authority, abiding by our Code of Conduct and in accordance with our values to engage employees and build positive employee relations in a professional manner.
• Lead daily tier meetings.
• Drives continuous process improvement in coordination with the CI team.
• Drives inventory accuracy.
• Maintain primary work area in accordance with 5S standards.
• Maintain attendance and punctuality standards; wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by Production Supervisor or Company management.
