Job summary

Tempstar Staffing is seeking immediate foundry workers for positions in Mount Joy, PA, and Wrightsville, PA. Shifts vary by department, with some 10-hour shifts, four days per week.

Responsibilities include lifting heavy castings, picking and sorting on conveyors, inspecting for defects, labeling gates, and reporting quality issues to the group lead. Prior experience in foundry or manufacturing is helpful; safety and 6S adherence are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Willingness to work varying shift lengths and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Pick castings off conveyor and sorting castings.
• Inspect castings for good vs scrap quality.
• Place castings in appropriate containers without damage.
• Identify gates and mark hoppers accordingly.
• Report quality issues and defects to group lead.
• Inspect completed cores and identify defects.
• Grind parts and file cores.
• Assemble simple components as needed.
• Complete required paperwork for each work order.
• Adhere to 6S and safety procedures.
