Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and process standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to measure materials accurately.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn specialized equipment.
• Ability to safely handle materials weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to work around industrial equipment and follow safety precautions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean furnaces, coil boxes, crucibles, and work areas.
• Accurately weigh and prepare materials per melt load requirements and alloy type.
• Operate 50 lb. and 100 lb. melt furnaces and related equipment.
• Monitor furnace operations to ensure melt accuracy and meet quality standards.
• Record production information in ERP systems and logs.
• Follow safety procedures related to hydrogen, nitrogen, argon, and handling.
