Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) in City of Industry, CA, seeks a Foundry Helper on 1st Shift to support the aerospace foundry team. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, you will assist with material handling, loading/unloading furnaces, and tooling organization while maintaining safety and quality standards. CPP offers comprehensive benefits and overtime opportunities to qualified candidates. This is a full-time, on-site role with a scheduled 4am–1:30pm shift.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; relevant experience considered
• Able to lift 10–40 lbs and work overtime/weekends
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work in a team environment

Responsabilités

• Supply or hold materials and tools; transport materials between departments
• Assist with loading/unloading casting furnaces
• Organize parts and tools (core boxes, chills, rods, etc.) and verify documentation
• Remove loose pieces from the core and prepare for next operation
• Set up and operate foundry machinery with training (belt grinder, saw, Airset, Forklift)
• Assist with general department cleanup and maintain a safe work area
• Comply with safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies
• Be accountable for working safely by following all safety rules
• Support foundry operators as needed

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is currently looking for a Foundry Helper on 1st Shift to join our City of Industry team! They will be reporting to our Operations Supervisor at our aerospace foundry.

Salary Range: $19 - $21 DOE (Overtime Available)

Schedule: 4am - 1:30pm

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supplies or holds materials or tools, transports material from one department to another.
• Assists with loading or unloading casting furnaces.
• Organizes parts, and/or tools such as core boxes, chills, rods, loose pieces, locators or wires necessary to complete assigned jobs and checks all documentation (Work Instructions, special instructions, etc.) to help ensure the best possible results.
• Assists with removing loose pieces from the core, placing all loose pieces, vent rods, risers, etc., in the box, pushing box toward next operation and stacking cores on skids or rollers.
• With training will set up and operates machinery utilized throughout the foundry (belt grind, saw, Airset, Forklift, etc.) consistent with established procedures and/or applications.
• Assist with general departmental clean-up which may include sweepingand shoveling of debris maintaining cleanwork area and equipment.
• Complies with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.
• Be accountable for working safely by following all safety rules and safe work practices.
• Support foundry operators as needed.

• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
• Manufacturing/production operation experience desired
• HS diploma or equivalent GED required, but candidates not meeting this requirement who possesses relevant experience will be considered.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends
• Able to lift 10-40 lbs
• Must have good attendance
