Job summary

Sundance Mountain Resort is seeking a FOUNDRY GRILL SERVER to join the team in Utah. This position offers both part-time and full-time options, with year-round and seasonal opportunities. A flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is required.

The role requires dining room setup, guest greetings, POS order entry, payment processing, and daily cleaning duties in a fast-paced environment. Experience with wine service and POS systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; at least 2 years of service experience in a full service restaurant.
• Experience with wine, liquors, and beer is desired.
• Prior experience with Point of Sale system is desired.

Responsibilities

• Set dining room ready for service to Sundance standards.
• Enter orders accurately in the POS with correct table/seat numbers.
• Greet guests warmly and explain specials and recommendations.
• Handle payments, give correct change, and complete nightly checkout with supervisor.
• Maintain neat appearance and comply with health codes.
• Proficiently perform duties in a fast-paced environment.

Job Title: FOUNDRY GRILL SERVER

Rate of Pay: $2.13/Hour + Tips

Shift: Variable AM & PM shifts

Sunday - Saturday

Part-Time & Full -Time, Year-Round & Seasonal positions

MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYS

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure dining room is set and ready for service to the Sundance standard with special attention to assigned section.
• Complete designated opening and closing responsibilities.
• Maintain a neat and clean appearance in compliance with health code.
• Wear a complete, clean, designated, wrinkle free uniform and name tag.
• Provide wine tool, pen, and bank for the shift.
• Ensure proper sequence of service is completed for all guests.
• Warmly greet each guest.
• Inform of daily specials, signature dishes, and personal recommendations.
• Enter orders in point of sale system using accurate table and seat numbers to ensure accurate delivery of food and beverage.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of orders and food.
• Collect payment, provide correct change, and obtain signatures as appropriate for payment type.
• Submit documentation of all payment transactions and complete a nightly check out with Supervisor or Manager.
• Exhibit exceptional job and product knowledge to provide guests with accurate information in all aspects of food, wine, service, and resort information.
• Exhibit self-confidence to the degree necessary to handle a variety of situations in a positive and professional manner.
• Complete assigned cleaning responsibilities.
• Proficiently perform all job duties in a fast pace environment.
• Exhibit a positive attitude when speaking about guests and fellow employees.
• Exhibit knowledge and compliance of Utah liquor laws.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); at least 2 years of service experience in a full service restaurant required. Experienced in service of wine, liquors, and beer desired. Prior experience with Point of Sale system desired. Prior experience with service banking and basic accounting skills desired.
• Must have or obtain a current food handlers permit within 30 days of employment.
• Must have or obtain a current alcohol service permit within 30 days of employment.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
