Job summary

ASC Engineered Solutions in Columbia, PA is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Worker to maintain, repair, and support the foundry's operations. You will perform plumbing, carpentry, minor electrical work, and routine preventative maintenance to keep the plant safe, clean, and productive.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, and able to identify maintenance needs, troubleshoot issues, and complete repairs safely in a demanding industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities or industrial maintenance preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Basic to intermediate plumbing knowledge relevant to the role.
• General carpentry, drywall, painting, hardware skills helpful.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform general facility maintenance and repairs throughout the foundry and surrounding areas.
• Repair plumbing systems including sinks, toilets, valves, and water lines.
• Troubleshoot leaks and other facility-related issues.
• Carry out handyman tasks such as drywall repair, painting, patching, caulking and carpentry.
• Maintain doors, locks, shelving, and building components; assist with electrical work within scope.
• Support facility improvements, installations, renovations, and equipment moves.
• Work with contractors for specialized repairs and ensure PPE and safety compliance.
