Job summary

PVM, Inc. is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to support Southern California Edison's environments in Palantir Foundry.

You will own features end-to-end, build ontology-driven Workshop apps and data pipelines, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with utility stakeholders. You’ll work onsite in Rosemead, CA on a rotating 12-hour shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support critical operations and live events with a focus on wildfire mitigation and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering/IS or related field; 3–5 years software engineering or systems integration
• Or in lieu of degree: at least 7 years of relevant experience
• Hands-on Palantir Foundry components: Ontology Manager, Workshop, Actions, Pipeline Builder
• Experience with Python, TypeScript or Java in Foundry workflows
• Experience integrating ERP, GIS, operational or enterprise systems
• Experience supporting production platforms or on-call rotations
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts onsite in Rosemead, CA
• Able to communicate with utility stakeholders and operational users

Responsibilities

• Own Foundry features end to end: design, build, test, deployment
• Build ontology-driven Workshop apps, dashboards, workflows, and actions
• Build and maintain data pipelines integrating SAP, OMS, GIS, weather, and more
• Contribute to ontology design across use cases
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis during critical events
• Translate stakeholder requirements into scalable Foundry solutions
• Support release management, deployment promotions, testing, and governance
• Maintain technical docs, runbooks, and architecture diagrams
• Mentor junior engineers on Workshop development and Foundry best practices
