Jobot is seeking a Permanent Foundry Engineer to join our Texas manufacturing team. You will develop and improve foundry processes on the shop floor, manage projects, and ensure quality.

This is a hands-on role that values MAGMASOFT experience, CAD proficiency, and a strong focus on safety, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to boost efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a foundry environment, with a focus on process capabilities, process control, and rigging and fixture design.
• Demonstrated experience in project management within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of foundry operations and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
• Proficient in using CAD software for design purposes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations within the manufacturing industry.
• A continuous improvement mindset, with a commitment to staying updated with the latest industry trends and best practices.

Salary: $115,000 - $130,000 per year

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Permanent Foundry Engineer to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and improving foundry processes, ensuring quality control, and managing projects to enhance efficiency and productivity. We have been pouring precision aluminum and magnesium castings out of Texas since 1971. The team supplies close tolerance components to Boeing, Lockheed and other leading names in aerospace, alongside automotive, commercial and defense customers, backed by AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 certification and a shelf of American Foundry Society and U.S. Navy recognition.
