Job summary

rednote is seeking a Product Designer to bridge brand vision with a visually-forward in-app experience for a consumer mobile app.

You will define iconography, typography, color, and motion, and evolve the visual design system across core surfaces. Collaboration with Product, Community & Brand, and Engineering will ensure alignment and high visual standards.

The role emphasizes craft, visual rigor, and emotional resonance, with ownership of visual design from end-to-end for a mobile-first product.

Responsibilities

• Bridge brand vision with UI components for a consumer mobile app.
• Define icon sets, typography, color system, and motion language end-to-end.
• Own and evolve design system components with clear documentation.
• Partner with Product, Brand, and cross-functional teams to maintain high visual standards.
• Conduct reviews with engineering to ensure motion fidelity across iOS and Android.
• Direct micro-interactions and visual storytelling for onboarding and launches.
