Blykalla is seeking a founding in-house legal counsel to build the US legal function within its Austin, Texas office. You will serve as the primary legal resource covering commercial, corporate, and regulatory matters, while drafting and negotiating various agreements and managing legal risks.

This pivotal role also involves collaboration with senior leadership and supporting efficient growth as the company navigates national laboratories and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant legal experience in-house and at top-tier law firms.
• Proven track record in technology-intensive commercial agreements.
• Fluency in English with ability to work in a cross-cultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary US legal resource, providing counsel across various matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements.
• Manage legal aspects of Blykalla’s US subsidiaries and governance.
