Job summary

Unifold is building deposit infrastructure for consumer fintech and crypto apps, offering a developer-first API and SDK to accept cross-chain deposits.

We're seeking an intern or part-time designer to join the founding team, shaping product design, interaction design, and motion for our infrastructure layer. You’ll work closely with engineers to turn ideas into fast, clean experiences.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design consumer-facing experiences for financial and crypto products.
• Turn complex deposit and onboarding flows into simple, high-converting UX.
• Build and maintain Figma components and design system foundations.
• Work closely with frontend engineers to get designs into production.
• Define motion patterns that improve usability, not just aesthetics.
• Improve visual consistency across typography, spacing, hierarchy, and color.
• Own small-to-medium design projects end-to-end.

Stablecoins and crypto rails are becoming the default way money moves on the internet.

But getting users funded in consumer apps is still too hard. People have money spread across exchanges, wallets, chains, and banks. And the path from "I have funds" to "I can use this app" is still full of friction and drop-off.

That's the problem we're solving at Unifold.

We build deposit infrastructure for consumer-facing crypto and fintech apps, enabling platforms to accept crypto and stablecoin deposits across chains, wallets, exchanges, and tokens via a developer-first API and SDK.

We're looking for an intern or part-time designer to make this experience feel clean, intuitive, and fast. You'll work directly with the founding team on product design, interaction design, and motion for one of the more interesting infrastructure layers being built right now.

What you’ll do

• Design consumer-facing experiences for financial and crypto products
• Turn complex deposit and onboarding flows into simple, high-converting UX
• Build and maintain Figma components and design system foundations
• Work closely with frontend engineers to get designs into production
• Define motion patterns that improve usability, not just aesthetics
• Improve visual consistency across typography, spacing, hierarchy, and color
• Own small-to-medium design projects end-to-end

What we’re looking for

• Experience designing consumer fintech or crypto products
• Strong Figma skills, especially component-based design systems
• Solid visual taste and sharp attention to detail
• Comfort working alongside frontend engineers
• Fluency with AI tools in your design workflow
• Ability to move fast, self‑direct, and ship

Nice to have

• 3+ years of designer experience
• Portfolio work showing both craft and product thinking
• Experience designing money movement, onboarding, or activation flows
