Job summary

HealthPath Medical & Psychiatric in Charleston, West Virginia seeks a licensed therapist to found and lead our new Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This ground-floor leadership role offers ownership to shape structure, curricula, and care delivery.

You will oversee group, individual, and family sessions, ensure medical necessity, support accreditation, build referrals, and mentor clinicians as the programs scale.

Qualifications

• Active WV behavioral health license or license-eligible.
• Experience delivering IOP services is required.
• Ability to lead program development and drive adoption.

Responsibilities

• Found the IOP and PHP programs and drive overall implementation.
• Design group schedules, curricula, clinical workflows, and policies.
• Deliver sessions (group, individual, family) using evidence-based modalities.
• Assess care levels, document medical necessity for authorizations.
• Lead accreditation activities and payer utilization reviews.
