Job summary

TalentPluto, Inc. in San Francisco, CA is seeking a hands-on Head of Recruiting to build the function from the ground up. You will lead proactive sourcing, close top talent, and partner with the CEO on hiring priorities in a fast-growing AI startup.

The role requires in-person work five days a week, in a high-velocity environment with visa sponsorship available. You will craft recruiting strategy, pipelines, and governance to scale with company growth.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong judgment for identifying top-tier talent quickly.
• Ability to build scalable recruiting infrastructure and process.
• Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco and work in person 5 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Build the recruiting function from the ground up, including process, tooling, and standards.
• Partner directly with the CEO on hiring priorities and candidate decisions.
• Source proactively and creatively rather than relying on inbound flow.
• Close high-quality candidates against competing offers.
• Build scalable recruiting systems, including ATS setup, pipelines, and automations.
• Keep hiring quality high as volume grows.
