Job summary

Raycaster is hiring in NYC for a backend/frontend engineer who will own critical subsystems, including agent orchestration and document pipelines. You will ship end-to-end Go backend and React UI, building reliable systems with evals, guardrails, and strong observability.

You’ll talk to users to turn customer pain into product, own subsystems, and contribute to performance, concurrency, and distributed systems. In-person work at NYC office with equity offered.

Qualifications

• Built and shipped real systems in Go or Rust.
• Own a subsystem; strong fundamentals in distributed systems.
• Experience with AI/LLM features in production.
• High attention to detail and product taste.
• Ability to learn quickly and figure out unknowns in hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain agent orchestration, document pipelines, versioning.
• Ship end-to-end Go backend and React UI.
• Improve reliability with evals, guardrails, observability.
• Engage with users to translate pain into product.
