Job summary

Beyond Reach Labs is designing and building the largest deployable structures ever flown to space. As a Founding Software Engineer, you will build internal tools enabling visualization, data analysis, and large-scale simulations for aerospace engineering teams.

You will own front-end tools, data pipelines, and compute infrastructure to run long-running simulations, shaping software that accelerates design and validation across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Software Eng, or Computer Eng, or 3–5 years as a Software Engineer.
• Knowledge of software best practices across front-end, back-end, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience developing software tools from 0 to 1.
• Ability to work autonomously and own projects with evolving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy internal web tools for data analysis or visualization.
• Build data pipelines and compute infrastructure for large-scale simulations.
• Maintain CI and collaborate with hardware and simulation teams.
