Job summary

MIRA is building the most proactive AI to replace the phone with lightweight AI glasses in San Francisco. The founding team seeks a Software Engineer to help advance human-computer interaction, shipping production systems rapidly.

This full-time, in-person role sits with a small team solving real-time AI challenges across software and hardware. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of experience and strong CS fundamentals in TS, Python, C/C++, APIs, databases, and distributed systems, plus a track

Qualifications

3+ years of software engineering experience.
Strong CS fundamentals across TS, Python, C/C++, mobile, backend infra, APIs, databases, and distributed systems.
Experience building complex technical products end-to-end across software, AI and hardware.
Strong product intuition and ability to make pragmatic engineering tradeoffs.
Comfortable owning ambiguous problems, moving across the stack, and shipping production systems.

Responsibilities

Help build the next evolution of human-computer interaction as a Founding Software Engineer.
Contribute to end-to-end development across software, AI, and wearable hardware boundaries.
Own design and delivery of production systems under rapid iteration.
Collaborate with a small in-person San Francisco team to ship impactful features.
