Job summary

Pharos is building AI-powered hospital quality analytics to reduce avoidable harm and improve patient safety. As a founding software engineer, you will ship core user-facing applications, enable integrations with healthcare systems, and develop the LLM-driven analytics platform powering our product.

You’ll join a close-knit, high-agency team, collaborating with founders and design to rapidly prototype, deploy, and iterate across the product stack.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency with modern web tech (React/TypeScript) and front-end frameworks.
• Experience deploying and maintaining cloud-based applications (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Strong product intuition and user-centric mindset.
• Excellent communication of complex concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end feature development from design to deployment and monitoring.
• Build and maintain integrations with customer systems and APIs.
• Develop internal tools to speed up data workflows and onboarding.
• Turn requirements into reliable, maintainable software with product stakeholders.
• Design and implement full-stack front-end, back-end APIs and services.
• Prototype new ideas quickly and advocate for great user experience.
