EliseAI in New York is seeking a Founding Software Engineer to help build our healthcare platform. You’ll own significant parts of the product, design scalable systems, and shape how our AI delivers real value to patients and providers.

This is a startup within a startup, with high autonomy and fast-paced delivery. You’ll work with a small team of engineers, partner with product and design, and ship new features dozens of times per day while maintaining quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Proficient in one or more of Java, Python, Go, or C#; 1+ years of experience preferred.
• Startup mindset with ownership and urgency in delivering software.
• Strong system design and scalable architecture understanding.

Responsibilities

• Build systems enabling autonomous operations in healthcare.
• Develop end-to-end product features with customers from design to deployment.
• Improve scalability and reliability of core infrastructure.
• Propose improvements to architecture and design patterns.
• Collaborate with product and design to turn AI capabilities into user-facing experiences.
• Continuously ship features in a fast-paced environment.
