This is a hands-on SWE role in a small, ambitious team, focused on delivering a product rather than writing code. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience, strong frontend and backend skills, and a track record of creating complex software systems from the ground up.

This means defining how teams will prototype, experiment, train, evaluate and monitor GenAI products.The next decade will enable AI-powered products and features that are radically different from the software we have been building until now. This is an open-domain unsolved problem, and we’re looking for tinkerers, hackers, and creatives who want to build the toolkit for the next decade of software.The role:Minimum requirements:- Min. 5+ years of experience as a SWE- Strong frontend + backend skills (if you're more frontend or backend-leaning, that's fine!)- Experience creating complex software systems from the ground up- A strong IC who is a self-starter and can work independentlyIdeal requirements:- You are excited about GenAI and are tinkering and hacking- You are excited about the challenge of figuring out unsolved problems- Based in SF, or willing to relocate (on-site but flexible working)- Start-up or founding engineer experience is ideal- Experience with AI is a plus but not a hard requirementWhat we look for:We're a small team, so we’re looking for someone who can tackle complex problems end-to-end.
