Job summary

Sela AI is hiring for a security-focused engineer to safeguard our AI-powered mortgage voice assistant platform in a fast-moving startup setting. You will own IAM, encryption, and cloud security across AWS, while implementing robust controls for sensitive customer data.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in security, infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering.
• Experience at an early-stage startup (Seed–Series C).
• Hands-on security for cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
• Strong understanding of IAM, networking, secrets management, encryption, logging, and cloud security best practices.
• Experience implementing security controls, not just policy.
• Experience handling sensitive customer data.

Responsibilities

• Define and continuously improve our security and privacy program.
• Implement security best practices across cloud, apps, and internal systems.
• Build secure patterns and controls for internal AI agent use cases.
• Own identity, access, secrets, and privileged access controls.
• Lead customer security reviews and SOC 2 Type II compliance.
• Manage third-party penetration testing and remediation.
• Build controls to protect data across API, voice, and SMS systems.
