Basis is seeking a Director or Manager-level leader to create and manage the sales enablement function. This pivotal role includes designing onboarding programs and enhancing seller productivity within their NYC office.
The ideal candidate will have over 5 years in sales enablement at a B2B software company, with a proven track record of improving training processes and sales messaging. The position offers unlimited PTO, a robust benefits package, and in-office perks.
Basis builds real agents that do real work in the real economy. Our agents operate for hours at a time, performing end-to-end work for some of the largest accounting firms in the world.
We recently raised $100M at >$1B valuation and are racing to deploy the most advanced applied ML at production scale. Our investors include: Khosla Ventures (Keith Rabois & Vinod Khosla), Accel (Miles Clements), Google Ventures, Nat Friedman & Daniel Gross, Adam D'Angelo, Jeff Dean, Jack Altman, Noam Brown, Kyle Vogt, Amjad Masad, Clem Delangue and many other operators/technical leaders.
"Basis is on the frontier of building production‑grade, long‑horizon agents. They’ve pushed the limits of what we thought our models could do on real‑world, economically valuable, complex accounting tasks. They’ve been a great collaborator in helping us shape what the future of agents looks like." — Prashant Mital, Applied AI Lead, OpenAI
We're looking for a Director or Manager‑level leader to build Basis's sales enablement function from the ground up—owning everything that helps our sellers ramp faster, sell more consistently, and win more deals. You'll design the onboarding and ramp program for new reps, codify our playbooks and messaging, and build the content, training, and certification that turn product knowledge and best practices into repeatable wins across the full sales cycle.
As we scale, you'll partner closely with sales leadership, marketing, product, and the wider RevOps team to keep our reps current on a fast‑evolving product and an evolving accounting/finance buyer. You'll own the enablement tooling and content library, run training and coaching cadences, sharpen our discovery and demo motions, equip the team with competitive and objection‑handling resources, and measure what's working through ramp time, win rates, and rep productivity. This is a founding, hands‑on role—you'll set the strategy and also build the materials yourself.
Location: NYC, Flatiron office. In‑person team.
