New York City startup Edison Smart® is hiring to build humanoid robotics software and hardware in a fast-moving, onsite role in NYC. You will develop the simulation environments and evaluation stacks that drive real manipulation work with robots, not just simulations.

The team values hands-on builders who ship, with equity on offer and a lean, fast-moving culture. Expect ownership of sim-to-real transfer, tooling for data generation, training and evaluation, and close work with a small founding

Qualifications

• Hands on robot learning or simulation experience, with learned behaviour deployed on physical robots.
• Strong sim, system ID and sim to real fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Build the sim environments, tasks and evals the whole robot learning stack runs on.
• Train manipulation policies and get them working on real hardware, not just in sim.
• Own sim to real transfer end to end.
• Build the tooling for data generation, training and evaluation from scratch.
