Beam is hiring a Prompt Engineer to help scale AI templates and workflows for US frontline practitioners, delivering tangible social impact. You’ll design, deploy and improve AI-powered templates across health and social service contexts, collaborating with US and UK teams in a fast-growing environment.

You’ll focus on regulatory compliance, data privacy and real-world usability, writing the playbook for the US market while staying ahead of AI innovations and best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in AI and prompt engineering with a hands-on, experimental mindset.
• Experience building greenfield projects where you create processes as you go.
• User-centric thinking translating real-world needs into practical AI solutions.
• Ability to work across Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Enablement teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and improve AI prompt templates with multiple LLM providers.
• Partner with frontline US workers to understand workflows and compliance needs.
• Own usage and outcomes metrics to ensure measurable impact.
• Iterate templates based on user feedback and performance data.
• Maintain HIPAA-level privacy considerations in solutions.
