Job summary

Lightsource is seeking a founding Product Manager in San Francisco to drive cross-functional teams and shape the product vision in a fast-paced environment. You will align engineers, designers, GTM, and stakeholders to build impactful products.

You will own requirements, lifecycle management, and data-driven decision making, collaborating with procurement and supply chain experts on frontier technologies to deliver value to customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or relevant equivalent) in a STEM subject such as computer science, engineering, information systems, mathematics, physics or applied sciences.
• 5+ years of experience in Product Management.
• Experience managing a product through a full product lifecycle.
• Understanding of compiling and analyzing large-scale complex data sets to drive decision making.
• Experience in clear communication of highly technical and complex information.

Responsibilities

• Discover, understand, and refine user requirements.
• Define the product vision and success criteria for projects.
• Organize complex, multi-faceted initiatives spanning multiple teams and projects.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and procurement/supply chain experts on frontier technologies.
• Coordinate with go-to-market stakeholders to communicate product capabilities and vision to prospects.
• Gather user and prospect feedback and perform market research to guide product development.
• Communicate progress and strategy across the company.
• Coordinate with marketers to ensure customers are aware of launches.
• Work directly with founders in a fast-paced environment.
