This is an early product role that sits close to the founders and the customers. The work is talking to users about their daily workflows, picking the problems worth solving, and turning feedback into things the engineers and designers can ship. A strong candidate has a few years of shipping experience, sound judgment when priorities shift, and clear communication, and ideally some background in construction, trades, or other complex real-world workflows.

How it fits the AI era

The product reads construction documents and automates estimating, so a lot of the PM work involves deciding where automation can be trusted and where a person still needs to check the output. AI speeds up repetitive document review, but understanding what estimators actually need, earning their trust, and choosing what to build next remain human calls. Product judgment about accuracy, edge cases, and real jobsite stakes matters a lot here.
