Job summary

Pragmatike is seeking a Founding Product Engineer with experience in YC-backed or venture-backed startups to work closely with Product, Design, customers, and engineering leadership to turn ideas into production products.

You’ll build scalable features end-to-end across frontend, backend, APIs, and infrastructure, prototype rapidly, and own features from architecture through deployment in a fast-moving, customer-centric environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong full-stack product engineering background.
• Experience building products from early-stage concepts.
• Strong product sense and customer empathy.
• Ability to move quickly while maintaining engineering quality.
• Strong communication and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Build new product capabilities from concept to production.
• Work closely with Product and customers to identify high-value problems.
• Develop full-stack features across frontend, backend, APIs, and infrastructure.
• Rapidly prototype and validate product ideas.
• Own features end-to-end from architecture through deployment.
