Job summary

Pharos is seeking a Product Engineer as a founding member of the engineering team. You will bridge product vision and technical execution, building core user-facing applications, including an interface for reviewing AI-generated results and an analytics platform for clinical quality trends.

You will own the full product lifecycle from first line of code to production, working with founders, designers, and AI researchers to deliver scalable, impactful software that helps healthcare workers

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency with modern web tech (React/Vue, TS), design systems.
• Experience deploying apps in a cloud environment (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong product intuition and focus on user experience.
• Excellent ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development of new user-facing features from design to deployment.
• Collaborate with designers to translate prototypes into responsive web apps.
• Build and maintain front-end and back-end APIs and services.
• Act as a product owner, prototype ideas, and gather user feedback.
• Manage CI/CD, cloud infra, and deployment processes for reliability and speed.
• Champion code quality, testing, and engineering best practices in a startup.
• Collaborate with founders, designers, and AI team to build a cohesive product.
