Job summary

Sage Care Inc is seeking its first full-time designer to shape the product and how it works, guiding design across the platform as the team grows. You will set the standard for design in a fast-moving healthcare AI startup and own brand and marketing materials. You’ll work closely with founders, product, and engineers to drive the product vision.

You’ll be deeply involved with research, prototyping, and delivering high-quality interfaces that balance speed with reliability in clinical workflows.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product design experience.
• Experience designing complex products across multiple companies (B2B SaaS, systems-heavy, or internal tools).
• Strong portfolio showing product thinking, UI craft, and measurable results.
• Experience designing product interfaces and brand/marketing materials.
• Strong research instincts and ability to run user sessions.
• Fluency in Figma for interface design and prototyping; capable with brand/marketing tools.
• Comfort using AI tools (e.g., Cursor, GPT, Claude) and judgment on limits.
• Excellent collaboration and communication in a cross-functional, fast-moving team.

Responsibilities

• Shape the direction of our products, grounded in deep knowledge of users.
• Own design across user-facing products end-to-end from research to launch and iteration.
• Lead research directly by sitting with frontline staff and translating findings into product direction.
• Craft polished, trustworthy interfaces for high-density clinical operations.
• Partner with founders, product, and engineers to set product vision and roadmap.
• Prototype quickly, in code or other means, to accelerate feedback and alignment.
• As founding designer, own brand and marketing: sales decks, website, and marketing material.
• Ship high-quality work fast in an early-stage, ambiguous environment.
