Job summary

Sunrise Robotics Corporation in the United States is hiring its first Product Designer to own Cell Experience (CX). You’ll shape how operators interact with robotic cells, from software interfaces to physical signals, ensuring the system communicates clearly and confidently.

In six months you'll establish Sunrise’s design language across CX surfaces; in a year the language will be coherent across the fleet, enabling safe operation without prior training.

Qualifications

• Experience across product and service journeys.
• Strong foundations in UX, interaction, and service design.
• Experience with high-stakes, complex systems.
• Ability to think in systems across states, flows, and environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the design of Cell Experience across every interaction surface: software, physical interfaces, and service touch-points.
• Design for the full journey: introduction, onboarding, monitoring, handover, and understanding by operators and managers.
• Define interaction models and design principles for autonomous systems to feel safe and intuitive.
• Develop a fleet-coherent design language scalable across diverse manufacturing environments.
• Prototype concepts across software and physical surfaces and validate with engineers and operators.
• Collaborate with engineering to translate designs into production-quality behavior.
