Job summary

SketchPro, Inc.—an early-stage AI architect startup—seeks a founding product designer to craft a new surface for construction documentation, design review, and collaboration. You will work in person in San Francisco, collaborating with in-house architects and engineers as the sole designer on the team.

You’ll design visual language, components, and interaction patterns, prototype with users, and own the end-to-end user experience for architects documenting and coordinating projects.

About SketchPro

SketchPro is building the first AI architect: an AI copilot for architects and engineers that accelerates construction documentation. We work with leading architecture firms to help streamline production and deliver documentation at the highest level.

The Role

We're hiring a Founding Product Designer to design a new surface for construction documentation, design review, and collaboration.

Our users are architects and designers. You'll be the only designer on the team, working closely with our in-house architects and engineers.

This role is fully in-person 5x/week at our SF office next to Salesforce Tower.

What You'll Do

• Design how architects guide AI, review its work, and collaborate with their teams

• Create the visual language, components, and interaction patterns

• Prototype and test ideas with our in-house architects and engineers

• Talk to architects at customer firms about how their teams document, review, and coordinate projects

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years of product design experience

• Shipped work you can show us

• Strong visual and interaction design skills

Nice to Have

• Experience designing AI agents or copilots

• Experience with CAD, BIM, 3D, or canvas software

• A background in architecture or engineering

• Experience prototyping in code or shipping production frontend code
