Job summary

Ceno is building a neobank for the US-to-Asia corridor. This role leads the full mobile app experience across iOS and Android, shaping how users create accounts, fund, and trade global equities.

You will design the first design system, set the visual language, and stay close to users through interviews to turn feedback into product improvements. This in-person NYC role offers significant ownership and equity opportunities.

About Ceno

Ceno is building the neobank for the US-to-Asia corridor: one account where Americans invest in global equities, hold and move money between USD and local currencies, and run a financial life that spans continents.

We're starting with the hardest and most valuable piece: a retail brokerage that gives US investors direct access to international equities, with USD in, USD out and FX, custody, KYC, and tax reporting handled invisibly by an AI-native, agentic back end. Our first markets are Korea and Japan, chosen for deep investor demand and a regulatory opening in Korea that gives overseas brokers direct market access for the first time. From there the map expands, market by market, until the world's equities sit on one shelf.

The product promise is true localization: buying any global equity feels exactly like trading the US markets, with the research, filings, and news that local investors trade on translated and delivered in real time by our AI research engine. As the map grows, stablecoin-enabled settlement will move money across borders in minutes instead of days. The AAPI community is our beachhead; US retail is the market.

Ceno's founding team brings experience from Citadel and building a global technology company from inception through IPO, with academic backgrounds from Princeton and Harvard Business School. What You Will Do

• Own the full mobile app experience across iOS and Android, from structure to interaction detail to final polish.
• Design the highest-stakes flows in the product, from account creation, verification, funding and a user's first trade.
• Craft how users browse, evaluate, and trade global equities, including the AI research and news experience that makes overseas markets legible to a US audience.
• Build Ceno's first design system so the product scales consistently and engineers can move fast. We value speed and taste over process and perfection.
• Stay close to users through ongoing interviews, uncover pain points, and turn feedback into product improvements.
• Set the design vision and hiring bar.

Must-have

• 8 to 10+ years in product design, ideally with strong consumer mobile experience, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience with end-to-end (hybrid UX and UI) product design.
• Excellent visual craft: your interaction design, typography, layout, and attention to state and detail are high.
• Strong full-stack fluency, comfortable owning a feature from database to UI, with particular strength on the frontend.
• Founder mentality: you set your own direction, move fast, hold quality high, and don't need a PM or a brief to know what to work on.

Strong nice-to-have

• Experience designing for money, trust, and regulated surfaces (fintech, brokerage, banking, crypto, or investing).
• Language ability or community ties relevant to our launch audiences, and comfort with bilingual, cross-cultural UX.
• Experience building, owning, or significantly leveling up a design system.
• Comfort designing within financial marketing and disclosure rules, or the appetite to learn them fast.

Compensation: $125,000 to $175,000 base + equity options
