Job summary

Beacon Software is seeking a Design Lead to translate complex business problems into practical products. You will embed with portfolio companies, collaborate with customers, operators, designers, and engineers from discovery through adoption, shaping solutions that scale across multiple ventures.

Expect high-impact, hands-on ownership and measurable outcomes. You’ll guide product strategy, ensure successful rollout, and drive value with AI-enabled workflows while maintaining a relentless focus

Qualifications

Evidence of taking ambiguous product or operational problems through delivery to sustained use and measurable improvement.
Product judgment: challenge requests, uncover constraints and prioritize.
Technical fluency in AI-enabled products, integrations, data and evaluations. Inspect behavior and traces, prototype ideas, and discuss reliability, cost and technical tradeoffs with engineers.

Responsibilities

Find the right problem. Understand customer needs and product priorities with portfolio teams.
Shape the product and the proof. Define pilots, baselines, success criteria and stop conditions.
Lead delivery with partners. Set requirements and priorities; work with portfolio product and engineering teams to test the smallest complete solution.
Stay through adoption. Test with customers and operators; ensure reliability and rollout training.
Prove the value. Measure results and determine next steps such as expansion or stop.
Leave the company stronger. Hand off to owners and capture reusable workflows and lessons.
