Aron is building an AI chief of staff for procurement in the San Francisco Bay Area. This full-time, in-person role sits between customers and our engineering team, owning critical procurement outcomes and translating lessons into product improvements.

You will lead real sourcing work, negotiate with suppliers, and guide implementations while shaping Aron’s roadmap for scale and impact. This is a founding-team role with high ownership and influence.

Formación

• 5-10+ years in procurement or related field.
• Owned meaningful spend and run competitive sourcing events.
• Negotiated with suppliers and defended sourcing recommendations to senior leadership.
• Experienced with ERP data quality and complex specifications.

Responsabilidades

• Own customer implementations and ongoing success.
• Understand each customer's spend, suppliers, categories, constraints, and procurement priorities.
• Identify high-value work Aron should take on and drive opportunities from data through sourcing.
• Build credibility with CPOs, category managers, finance leaders, and plant-level stakeholders.
• Track value from opportunity to realized savings and identify expansion opportunities.
• Do real procurement work: dive into spend, build RFQs, find suppliers, normalize quotes, and run negotiations.
• Evaluate commercial and supply-risk tradeoffs and prepare award recommendations.
• Collaborate with engineers to QA AI-generated recommendations and translate problems into product requirements.
• Help define workflows that scale across customers and first-hand determine what to automate next.
• Ensure procurement outcomes align with commercial judgment and P&L impact.
