Job summary

OXMIQ is seeking a Founding Principal Architect to set the architecture and technical direction for the AI cloud platform, enabling reliable model serving, training, and AI infrastructure services. You will translate fast-moving tech into durable, production-ready systems for engineers and customers.

As a founding architect, you will mentor the team, lead design reviews, and ensure interfaces across compute, storage, and networking are coherent.

Qualifications

Experience with LLM inference and serving frameworks in production.
Experience with distributed training and model lifecycle workflows.
Fluency in Kubernetes-based platform design, scheduling, and observability.

Responsibilities

Define architecture for model serving, training, and AI infrastructure services.
Set standards for performance, cost, security, observability, resilience, and usability.
Evaluate technologies with prototypes and benchmarks to inform decisions.
Define interfaces with compute, storage, and networking teams for coherent AI workloads.
Lead and mentor founding engineers, drive design reviews, and turn architecture into services.
Use AI-assisted workflows to speed prototyping without compromising rigor.
