Job summary

The Learning Experience #498 is opening a brand-new childcare center in Bartlett, IL and seeks an experienced Preschool Center Director to build and lead the school from the ground up. You will recruit and coach a high-performing team, shape center culture, and drive enrollment while balancing educational quality and business operations.

Join a hands-on leader role focused on family experience, licensing compliance, and the implementation of LEAP.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership or management experience in a licensed childcare or early childhood setting.
• Center Director, Child Care Director, Assistant Director, Education Director, or similar leadership experience.
• Experience recruiting, coaching, and developing teachers.
• Experience with center operations, staffing, scheduling, payroll, budgeting, or financial management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing center team, ensuring health, safety and licensing standards.
• Drive enrollment through tours, outreach, and family engagement; retain families and monitor metrics.
• Oversee daily operations, staffing, payroll, scheduling, and center budgets.
