Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved professional nursing education program.
• Current, unrestricted Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license.
• Bachelor’s degree with plan to achieve MSN.
• Experience in nursing practice, nursing education and administration.
• Strong professional leadership abilities.
• Direct patient-care or nursing-teaching experience.
• Excellent written communication, organization and documentation.
• Willingness to be the full-time, on-site program director.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for development, implementation and evaluation of the PN program.
• Guide nursing-education decisions and advise leadership on regulatory requirements.
• Review and strengthen curriculum, syllabi, lesson plans and evaluation methods.
• Ensure compliance with State Board of Nursing and Department of Education.
• Lead remaining approvals and prepare for regulatory reviews.
• Recruit, orient, mentor, supervise and evaluate nursing faculty.
• Establish a collaborative faculty culture focused on student success.
• Coordinate classroom, lab, simulation and clinical education.
• Maintain clinical partnerships and student-to-instructor ratios.
• Oversee student progression, remediation and clinical performance decisions.
• Develop systems for documentation, program evaluation and NCLEX prep.
• Participate in budgeting, scheduling and ongoing program improvement.
• Remain actively involved in day-to-day launch and operation.
