Job summary

Restate is seeking its first Product Marketing hire to define how developers, platform teams, and AI-native companies perceive durable execution and Restate’s place in the AI infrastructure stack.

You will own the narrative, craft positioning, and lead launches across cloud, self-hosted, and BYOC offerings, translating customer success into compelling case studies and technical narratives for builders and buyers.

Qualifications

• Owned positioning and messaging for technical products with measurable impact.
• Discuss AI infrastructure, agents, orchestration, and distributed systems with engineers.
• Able to distill complex concepts into clear, memorable narratives.
• Launched products or major features and built momentum around technical offerings.
• Active use of AI to improve workflows and understand buying behavior.

Responsibilities

• Define and own positioning, messaging, and category narratives across durable execution, AI agents, orchestration, and long-running AI systems.
• Develop competitive positioning for technical evaluations and enterprise procurement.
• Own launches and major product moments end-to-end across Cloud, open-source, and enterprise offerings.
• Translate customer success into compelling case studies, technical narratives, and proof points.
• Partner with founders on packaging, pricing, and go-to-market strategy across Cloud, self-hosted, and BYOC offerings.
• Create sales and community enablement material including technical content, battlecards, presentations, briefs, and objection handling.
• Ensure messaging consistency across product, engineering, developer relations, and founder-led channels.
• Synthesize customer feedback, competitive intelligence, and win/loss analysis into product and company strategy.
