Job summary

ModernFi is hiring a Senior/Staff Platform & Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in New York. You will build foundational infrastructure, own reliability, and lead security efforts. This role offers the chance to grow and work on mission-critical systems for a leading fintech company.

The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in software engineering, especially in infrastructure, with a solid understanding of AWS and infrastructure as code. ModernFi values collaboration, learning, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience focused on infrastructure.
• Deep fluency with cloud infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Hands-on experience with an observability stack.
• Experience improving on-call experiences and defining runbooks.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the reliability posture of ModernFi network.
• Lead the buildout of an advanced release pipeline.
• Drive security and compliance posture.
• Upgrade on-call practices and tooling.
