Job summary

We Source Talent is seeking a founding Mobile Engineer for a highly funded crypto trading app. You will architect and build the entire React Native experience from ground zero, with a focus on speed and ultra-low latency across all interactions.

Expect to ship to the App Store quickly and work directly with the founder and a dedicated UI/UX designer. The role demands 6–15 years of mobile engineering, proven RN/TS expertise, and a track record of shipping consumer apps at scale.

Qualifications

• Built and architected React Native apps from scratch (0 to 1) in TypeScript.
• Independent, hands-on contributor with proven ownership of mobile features.

Responsibilities

• Architect the entire React Native app from zero and make foundational technical decisions.
• Build a best-in-class trading experience (spot and perps) with speed and low latency.
• Ship from 0 to App Store on a rapid timeline, collaborating with the founder and UI/UX designer.
• Ensure the app scales to 25–50k+ daily active users and $100M+ daily volume without performance degradation.
• Own production reliability end-to-end and automate release pipelines.

Highly Funded Crypto Firm are looking for a Founding Mobile Engineer to architect and build a high-performance crypto trading app from the ground up.

The founders scaled their last product to $5.4M revenue in year one with two people and have worked at multiple companies that passed $1B valuations. Self-funded, no outside investors, no dilution, and profitable from launch by design.

Job Description:

• Architect the entire React Native app from zero,every foundational technical decision is yours
• Build a best-in-class trading experience (spot and perps) optimised for speed and low latency across every interaction
• Ship from 0 to App Store on a rapid timeline, working directly with the founder and a dedicated UI/UX designer
• Ensure the app scales to 25–50k+ daily active users and $100M+ daily volume without performance degradation
• Own production reliability end to end — fix critical bugs the hour they land, automate release pipelines
• 6–15 years in mobile engineering
• Built and architected React Native applications from scratch (0 to 1) in TypeScript
• 0-to-1 feature work at a prominent brokerage, wallet, or mobile crypto trading app
• Independently designed, built and scaled a consumer mobile app to 1M+ users
