Job summary

Orbis Group in New York is seeking a Founding/Senior Mobile Developer (iOS, Swift, Kotlin) to join the new Growth team as the first mobile engineer. You will own end-to-end mobile features, contribute to analytics and measurement tooling, and collaborate across disciplines in a hybrid work setting.

The role requires strong iOS and Android experience, proficiency in Swift and Kotlin, and a track record of shipping projects with attention to UX and quality.

Qualifications

• Several years building production mobile apps for iOS and Android.
• Proficient in Kotlin and Swift programming languages.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose and/or SwiftUI for UI development.
• Ownership of projects end-to-end and successful shipping.
• Strong grounding in OOP, concurrency and clean architecture.
• Demonstrated care for UX, testing and code quality.
• Kotlin Multiplatform is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver features for iOS and Android from start to finish, including paywalls, onboarding, subscription flows, in-app messaging, and referral mechanics.
• Work across client stack levels including backend, product, design, and quality assurance.
• Create the client side of the measurement system with feature flags, experiment assignment, and event instrumentation.
• Review code, assess implementations, and provide constructive criticism.
