Job summary

Transwest Mobile is launching a brand-new service market in Laredo, TX. As a founding mobile diesel technician, you will diagnose and repair heavy-duty diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems, working directly with customers and setting service standards from day one.

You will manage field workload, source parts, document diagnostics, and communicate repair recommendations to fleet managers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on diesel or heavy equipment repair.
• Experience in mobile or field service preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously in the field.
• Strong diagnostic and customer-facing skills.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary mobile technician supporting customers in Laredo and surrounding South Texas.
• Diagnose and repair heavy-duty engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Perform brake, cooling, DEF, emissions, and HVAC repairs on trucks and equipment.
• Use diagnostic software to identify root causes and document all work.
• Communicate repair recommendations clearly with fleet managers and site leaders.
