Job summary

Greenlight Robotics is building public transit technology and hiring its first core team of engineers in San Francisco. You will own training, validation, data curation, and deployment of ML models powering vehicle intelligence, reporting to the Co-founder & CTO in a fast-paced startup environment.

The role requires 4+ years of ML experience in vehicle applications, strong C++/Python coding, and the ability to design and maintain complex software architectures.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of ML models for vehicle automation or vehicle intelligence.
• Ability to write and evaluate high-quality code in C++ and Python.
• Experience with complex software architectures.
• Ownership of training, validation, and deployment pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Own prediction and planning models end-to-end (training, validation, data curation).
• Deploy and field-test software on prototype and customer vehicles.
• Build scalable ML data ingest, training, and validation pipelines.
• Deliver models with superhuman performance and reliability.
• Identify bottlenecks and help shape the technical roadmap.
