Careerscape is hiring a Founding Marketing Associate in New York City for a hands-on, in-person role. You will own the brand voice across social channels and college campuses, coordinating events and ambassador programs while shaping the product's narrative.

You'll work directly with the CEO, drive content, and leverage AI tools daily to test ideas. This is the company’s first dedicated marketing hire in a fast-growing, bootstrapped startup with strong user growth.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of marketing, content or social experience.
• Comfort on camera and a strong feel for what performs on short-form platforms.
• Daily use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, CapCut AI or similar).
• Authorization to work in the U.S. or Canada.
• Portfolio with links to content you made yourself (social accounts, videos, campaigns or designs).

Responsibilities

• Own organic social end to end across TikTok, Instagram, X and LinkedIn: ideas, filming, editing, posting and reporting on what works.
• Build and run a student ambassador program across college campuses.
• Plan and run IRL events and pop-ups in New York.
• Help lead a brand refresh and ship design assets (social graphics, short-form video, landing page visuals).
• Use AI tools every day to create, test and iterate faster.

Founding Marketing Associate (Consumer AI)

New York, NY (in person, 5 days a week) | Full-time | $110K–$140K base + 0.1–0.5% equity

Careerscape is hiring a Founding Marketing Associate on behalf of a fast-growing, profitable consumer AI startup in New York City. The company builds a privacy-first, more sustainable AI assistant and has grown to more than 5 million users and 500,000+ daily active users in about eight months, without outside marketing spend. It's bootstrapped and profitable, and the team is small and moves fast.

This is the company's first dedicated marketing hire. You'll work directly with the CEO to shape how millions of people discover and talk about the product, and you'll own the brand's voice across social, campus and in-person channels.

What you'll do

What you'll bring

• A portfolio with links to content you made yourself (social accounts, videos, campaigns or designs) — please include it with your application

• Comfort on camera and a strong feel for what performs on short-form platforms
• Daily use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, CapCut AI or similar)
• Ability to work in person in the New York City office 5 days a week
• Authorization to work in the U.S. or Canada

Nice to have

• Design skills (Figma, Canva, Adobe) and video editing experience
• Experience growing an account or community from scratch
• Interest in AI, privacy or sustainability

Compensation

$110,000–$140,000 base salary plus 0.1–0.5% equity.
