Sealy Management Company is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor for The Laurel at Calera in Calera, AL. This founding role oversees all maintenance operations prior to the grand opening and sets standards for the community.

You will lead the maintenance team and partner with construction teams to ensure exceptional resident-ready homes. The position emphasizes building a maintenance culture focused on responsiveness, safety, and long-term value, with upcoming opening day expectations and ongoing

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of apartment maintenance experience.
• EPA Certification required.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all daily maintenance operations.
• Recruit, train, and mentor maintenance technicians.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance programs.
• Complete service requests promptly and professionally.
• Prepare apartment homes for new residents.
• Maintain building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Coordinate outside vendors and contractors.
• Monitor inventory and maintenance budgets.
• Conduct property inspections for curb appeal.
• Participate in on-call emergency maintenance rotations.
